Tzalam
Also called Caribbean Walnut. This is a high-density wood from Mexico. This wood is fairly fine-textured with a straight open grain and colors that range from light brown to chocolate. These mostly-brown hardwood floors will ometimes have streaks of red or lustrous brown, might at times be faintly striped in red, or sharply demarcated from the white sapwood. Our finish renders a red to dark brown, semi-gloss surface. This type of wood offers a resistance of 2,400 pounds per square inch, making it suitable for high traffic applications.
Pucte
Also known as Caribbean Ipe or “Bullet Wood”; the name is not a mystery. This wood is heavy and extremely hard, dense and durable, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations. Whether you use it for your patio deck or your living room, it will look luxurious and exotic for many years. Our finish renders a highly lustrous yellowish-brown to greenish-olive brown. It offers a resistance of no less than 3,300 pounds per square inch, making it perfect for heavy duty applications. It includes a 10-year warranty, whether used inside or outside.
Katalox
Also called Ebony or Ebano in Spanish, this is a dense black wood that may refer to similar wood from different species. Ebony's fine texture and smooth finish when polished make it a valuable ornamental wood. Ebony is heavy enough to sink in water, and is a rare and costly wood. It offers a resistance of 3,600 pounds per square inch, making it suitable for heavy duty applications. It includes a 10-year warranty when used for interiors.
Jabin
Is a very hard wood from the Yucatan Peninsula. Its wood is very appreciated because of is beautiful patterns and strength. It is used for the building of docks, boardwalks, poles, flooring and cattle enclosures, among other uses.

Bocote
Has a yellowish brown body with dramatic dark brown to almost black stripes. Color tends to darken with age. Also, the grain patterning can be quite striking. Heartwood is rated from moderately durable to very durable depending on the species. With its striking, zebra-like contrasts, and bold figuring, Bocote can be a very eye-catching wood. Bookmatching two consecutive panels can create symmetrical ”faces” and other patterns in the wood.
